Unicorns in Uniforms: Dragon Inferno

This is the first fun tale in a new series about a team of uniformed unicorns who work in the emergency services. This particular story focuses on Blaze, a feisty fire-fighting unicorn, and her trusty yet cheeky fire engine, Quench. 

When Flare and Glimmer, two mischievous young dragons, crash-land in Witchy Wood, the forest is rapidly engulfed in flames, sending witches, wizards and fairies fleeing in fright. Blaze and Quench race to the rescue, but the fire is spreading fast and their efforts are hampered by hapless witch Jinx, whose disastrous spells are making the situation much more dangerous. 

Luckily, Blaze is joined by her formidable team mates, fellow unicorns Police Sergeant Locke and air-and-mountain rescue expert Sunny, as well as Dash the paramedic zebra and Aquarius the narwhal, who specialises in sea rescue. Can they bring the inferno under control before it reaches a treehouse which is packed full of explosive potions? 

Glorious, vibrant illustrations feature throughout, injecting plenty of humour into the tale and bringing the characters to life for young readers. This entertaining chapter book carries important messages about fire safety, and there is also some factual information about fire engines at the end of the book.
