The Fabulous Phartlehorn Affair

Bruno Pockley is an extraordinary boy with an extraordinary musical talent. But, when he sets off on the school trip to France, little does he realise quite the impact this talent will have as he finds himself sought out as a 'Phartler' by the court of the Knights Trumplar! But what does the Duke of Phartesia want with him and the other phartlers and are his intentions for good or evil? Bruno is soon to become embroiled in a mysterious yet nonsense filled rip-roaring adventure across Europe.

Despite the obvious, and possibly rather crude, joke here this is an enjoyable adventure story that romps along nicely. Full of daft humour and funny characters, it will particularly appeal to boys.
