Monsters Not Allowed

Publisher: Graffeg

It was just another regular day in Fidget school. Miss Harbord was teaching maths at the blackboard; the children were concentrating at their tables and the peaceful sounds of learning filled the air. Just a normal, standard, regular day. Until the monster arrived… It stomped into assembly, it made lots of silly sounds, it ate up all the lunches, and it rolled around the grounds. As you can imagine, all the children were excited, but Mr Jedd the Deputy Head said, “Monsters aren’t invited!”

Once the monster had been sent away the mood in Fidget school changed. Nobody felt like laughing anymore. Nobody felt like playing, learning or even eating lunch. Even grumpy Mr Jedd began to miss its monster feet and its furry monster head. The children knew what they had to do. Working as a team, they hatched a plan to find the monster and bring it back to school...

Featuring fun rhyming prose and characterful illustrations, children will love reading about the hilarious chaos the monster brings to an everyday school setting. This charming book promotes themes of accepting differences, empathy and teamwork and features a diverse representation of child characters.
