Ada, Look at my Teeth!

Publisher: Walker Books

Ada’s animal friends show her their teeth. Lion has pointy teeth. Elephant has enormous teeth. Mouse has teeny-tiny teeth. Poor Duck has no teeth at all! They all show Ada their teeth, and then they brush them.

This very simple board book is a humorous way to talk to children about tooth-brushing. It’s also a fun way of talking about animals and how different they are.

There are adjectives for comparing their teeth – for instance, straight and curvy – and each animal is a different colourThe animals are toddler-like and friendly (even the crocodile!with brilliantly expressive faces, while the child is wearing a onesie and a teething bib, making this a familiar world.

The book has rounded corners, sturdy pages and is a good size for little hands to hold. This would be great fun to share with a toddler.
