Will is an orphan living with his grandmother. He decides to set out for Deadrock, a hangout for outlaws and crooks, to avenge his father’s death.

Hunting down his father’s killer, the evil, dangerous troll Noose Wormwox, will take all Will’s bravery and cunning. Fortunately, he has some good friends to help him along the way, including his horse, a ghostly cowboy and a plucky dwarf girl.
