Think we had a different version from the picture shown as the book has tabs that also has different textures on. However, I have just started to get the books with different textures on for my 4 month old and found this book to be great. At first she was a little unsure but she now puts her hands on the pages herself to feel them. The book is very colourful and the textures are very nice to touch.

My daughter really loves the different textures of this book, however some pages just have shinny surface/picture which is not so fascinating for her.

We have been exploring this book since approx 3 months as its genuinely nice book to introduce babies to animals and different textures. Eden loved grabbing hold of this book and was keen to turn the pages by herself, especially as she's got older and it's strong enough to let baby take the lead without causing damage to this lovely book.

My daughter loves this book, brilliant for the textures and relating them to real life
