This is a story of a worm. A worm who likes mud because it is brown. His name is Marcus.

One day, Marcus is rudely awoken by a wildly stabbing beak attached to a flamingo called Laurence. Laurence is shorter, browner and much more chicken-like than the average flamingo. But rather than eat Marcus, Laurence and he bond over a shared love of travelling. They soon a hatch a plan to fly to Kenya so that Laurence can meet his fellow flamingos there.
