Roar Went the Lion

In this story of animal sounds, things are not quite what they’re supposed to be – the cow is baa-ing, the hen is woof-ing, the dog is bzzz-ing.

Set in a little boy’s bed, as each animal and the sound they’re making is introduced, the page gets busier and busier until it’s full of animals making all sorts of noises and someone has to call ‘Stop!’ It’s a lovely, cyclical story, each animal saying the wrong noise and then each of them then having a second go – will they get the noises right this time?
