Raven Child and the Snow Witch

Anya lives in the Snow Garden with her mother and her father, who is trying to invent a machine to enable him to fly. One day, when Anya's mother is picking gentian flowers in the snow, a broken-winged Raven watches as she is taken prisoner by the Snow Witch.
