My Happy Life

Dani is very happy and excited about starting school but also a tiny bit worried.  What if she doesn't find a friend? But then she meets Ella and nothing - even disagreements - can separate them. 

Then Ella moves away.  Dani sits alone at school, staring at Ella's chair. She isn't happy any more - not one bit.  Ella’s gone, just like Dani’s mother.  But gradually, Dani starts to put her happiness back together: finding new friends, visiting Ella. She's happy again - just in a different way.
