Moth Girls
Publisher: Hot Key Books
Petra and Tina are the Moth Girls: two teenagers that disappeared after entering a dilapidated house, five years ago. Mandy is living with the guilt and horror of what might have happened to them. As the anniversary of their disappearance approaches, and her friend Tommy prepares for a school assembly to commemorate the girls, Mandy journeys back into her memories and finds disturbing new insights that are difficult to reconcile.
This beautifully written thriller has excellent, well-drawn characters. It is a sensitive and multi-layered exploration of friendships and family tensions, including abuse, as well as a mystery that will keep you turning the pages right up to the end.

I thought this book was written very cleverly! It changes perspectives, from Mandy the new girl who just wants to fit in to Tina, the girl who wants to be friends with everybody, to Petra who wants to explore this mysterious deceiving house! It is a grippy thriller which explores the themes of abuse , friendships and mystery ....
