Looking for Alaska
Publisher: HarperCollins
'If people were rain, I was drizzle and she was a hurricane.' Miles Halter's whole life has been one big non-event, until he meets Alaska Young. Gorgeous, clever and undoubtedly screwed-up, Alaska draws Miles into her reckless world and irrevocably steals his heart. For Miles, nothing can ever be the same again.
The first novel from the author of The Fault in Our Stars, this is a moving, quirky coming-of-age story. By turns funny and sad, but always thought-provoking, this is certain to be popular with John Green's many fans.

This book is one of my favourites for many reasons. It is beautifully written and one of my main reasons for loving it is the friendships in it. It is funny, relatable in places, moving and it's just so beautiful to read. I would recommend this to people who like thoughtful books but really everyone. This book changed the way I think.
