Lift and Look Bugs

Published in partnership with the Royal Botanical Gardens at Kew, this board book for young readers explores some of the places we can find bugs. In the wooded green areas we lift the flap to find worms, woodlice and beetles living around a family of badgers in a burrow. In the hive we find honey bees and in the trees we’re asked to look for ants, centipedes and moths.

Each page features a sturdy fold-out flap that expands the lovely scenery that is buzzing with life. Children can pore over the details and then take to the outdoors to see if they can spot any of the same bugs in the real world. The illustrations are so bright and colourful; each page really is an explosion of colour, it can’t fail to grab the attention of any budding naturalists and gardeners.
