It’s a Wrap

Elektra James is back in the third installment of the Waiting for Callback series. Her first feature film Raw (in which, sadly, her character was killed off prematurely) is about to come out, her GCSEs are looming and her gorgeous on/off boyfriend Archie is back from Romania, where he’s been hanging out with some very attractive vampires.

Elektra is a lovable heroine and this fun series (co-written by a mother-and-daughter team) will give a bit of light relief to younger teens. It’s funny, the characters are ultra-believable, and the dialogue is spot on. Wannabe actors can also enjoy it for some really great tips and advice.

You do need to read the first two books in the series first, starting with Waiting for Callback.
