Guinea Pig Party
Publisher: Nosy Crow
Ten little guinea pigs are having a party, but the rambunctious games and rich party food are having a diminishing effect on the party guests! Luckily the birthday boy knows just what to do, and the party comes to a happy conclusion with party bags all round.
This rhyming picture book is well-written, with fun, colourful illustrations, and a robust padded cover. It could be used as an effective teaching tool with very young readers, helping them to learn to count up to ten and back down again, but equally can be read and enjoyed as a story in its own right.

We received this book yesterday and I've already lost count the number of times we've read it! The illustrations are amazing! The guinea pigs are such characters and their antics make my 2 and 4 year old laugh out loud. They enjoy counting them on every page and predicting the number on the next page. It's fantastic for encouraging the children to count backwards from 10 as most books tend to go from 1-10. The padded front cover also makes the book feel special
