Don't Lose Pigley, Wibbly Pig!

Publisher: Hodder Children's Books

Wibbly Pig and Pigley have just left a party and Wibbly's desperate to discover what's inside the mysterious parcel in his party bag.

But he doesn't have enough hands to hold the balloon and Pigley and unwrap the mysterious parcel – and so the trouble starts.

Pigley has some unexpectedly perilous adventures (including a balloon ride and getting stranded on a high ledge), but he and Wibbly Pig are reunited – thanks to the mysterious parcel.

Wibbly is as engaging as ever (those expressive ears!) and the story is beautifully paced, Inkpen's spare text ('A party squeaker. That's not much. He begins to cry') taking you from eager anticipation to despair and back again. A welcome return for these old favourites.
