A summer spent camping in a derelict castle with its own private beach, is especially appealing to Kate as the person asking her to go is Leo, the coolest guy in school.

Kate also hopes she will finally get to be 'one of the gang' but Leo, and the castle, are not what they seem and amid local reports of hauntings, smuggling and a historic curse, the dream summer becomes a nightmare.
