Curiosity House - The Shrunken Head

Publisher: Hodder and Stoughton

Dumfrey's Dime Museum is the home of Pippa, Tom and Sam, who are all children with strange abilities. The children's lives have been fairly calm but things change when Mr Dumfrey buys a shrunken head to exhibit at the museum. As soon as the head arrives, things begin to change, the museum becomes busy and the local newspaper takes an interest.

Unfortunately, instead of things improving at the museum, things take a turn for the worse. Is there a curse attached to the head? Terrible things seem to befall those who come into contact with it.

Max arrives at the museum, and the children need her help to solve the mystery of the head's curse. But the children have no idea of the danger they are putting themselves in by trying to save their home.
