Counting Chickens

Tobi owns the finest hen in his village. When his friends' animals have babies, Tobi wishes for something more exciting than a daily egg. Ade's cow has a calf, Tunde's sheep has two lambs, and throughout the week, kids, kittens, puppies and piglets all arrive. By the seventh day, Tobi's hen has seven eggs. She sits on them for three long weeks, then hatches seven chicks. When they become hens, they have their own chicks and soon contented Tobi can't count all his chickens.
