It was only after I read this superb story that it was a children's tale. I was hooked from the first lines. It takes a special book to do this for me. I feel I want to read it again. I will be looking out for more of this author Mr Pullman. By the way, I am 64.

I loved the book so much that I feel like I want to read it again. I always wanted to read more as it left me on cliffhangers. I will read more of his books.
