Celebrate Children's Book Week
Every year, we encourage schools and libraries to inspire children everywhere to love reading for fun. Could YOU hold a special book week near you?
There are no set dates for Children's Book Week. You can hold your celebrations at whichever time fits best with your school calendar. Perhaps you want to have some extra fun around World Book Day? Or maybe you’d rather cheer on books during the autumn term. It’s entirely up to you!
Whenever you hold your celebrations, you’re in the right place for inspiration: here, you can find lots of fun ideas, reading tips and resources for the classroom.
Make sure you also check out the Great Books Guide, which showcases our favourite reads of the year. It's a great inspiration for any book-related activities! Physical copies of the new Great Books Guide will arrive at primary schools from the start of the Autumn term.
